Section 1: The Executive Board shall consist of the members as outlined in Article VII of the Constitution of the Gavilan College Faculty Association. Section 2: The Executive Board shall meet when notified in writing by the president. The quorum shall consist of those members present, after written notification but in no case fewer than three (3) members. All Executive Board meetings shall be open to any member, but nonmembers of the Executive Board shall not have the right to vote. Section 3: The duties of the Executive Board shall be to make recommendations to be acted upon by the membership, o fill vacancies which may occur between regular elections, to perform such routine business as the membership shall direct, and to such routine business as the membership shall direct, and to initiate educational questions to be brought to the attention of the membership. The Executive Board shall perform such executive functions as are provided for in other sections of these By-Laws and the Constitution and hall have the responsibility for providing final direction on all negotiation issues. |
