Ways to Stay Informed & Get Involved
GCFA E-Board Meetings
The GCFA Executive Board meets bi-monthly via Zoom from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.:
Closed Session: 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Open Session: 12-1 p.m.
GCFA Rep Council Meetings
The GCFA Rep Council is composed of Gavilan faculty members who represent their departments. These representatives are the bridge between the GCFA e-board and department faculty.
The GCFA Rep Council meets bi-monthly the Thursday before E-Board Meetings from 1-2 p.m.
GCFA Organizing Committee
The GCFA Organizing Committee works to buid a stronger, visible, and vibrant local faculty union. Contact Robb Overson to get involved.

The Gavilan College Faculty Association (GCFA) promotes open access to comprehensive quality education, inquiry and intellectual engagement, academic freedom, shared governance, democratic processes, and community involvement; the Association exists to support faculty involved in these endeavors.
